Hello and welcome to my website! I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you on your journey to Norway.
A little about me: I have a personal connection to Norway. My grandparents emigrated from Norway in the 1920s, and I still maintain close ties with relatives there. I’ve traveled to Norway twice, with my most recent trip being a family adventure where I took charge of extensive research, made restaurant reservations, and coordinated transportation. The first week of that trip was a solo adventure, during which I explored Oslo on my own.
One of my favorite places in Norway is Bergen—a beautiful, walkable city that I absolutely love. Norway is rich in history and culture, something my father instilled in me and my siblings, especially through his appreciation of Norwegian cuisine. I’m passionate about helping you discover the perfect places to eat and fully immerse yourself in Norway’s culinary delights.
I’ve been studying Norwegian for several years and am conversationally fluent, which allows me to bring an even deeper level of cultural understanding to the experiences I help curate.

As someone deeply passionate about Norway, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to experience its beauty firsthand. I specialize in exploring the country's rich religious heritage, particularly its iconic stave churches, and I have a great appreciation for Norwegian sweets, having discovered some of the most delightful treats the country has to offer. In addition, I enjoy finding the perfect accommodations to ensure a comfortable and authentic stay, whether it’s a cozy cabin or a charming boutique hotel. I’m excited to share my knowledge and personal experiences to help you uncover the unique charm and cultural richness of Norway on your own journey.

Growing up, I was fortunate enough to be raised in a household where I was immersed in all the magic of Norwegian culture. While having no Norwegian heritage myself, my younger siblings did, and their father incorporated many Norwegian elements into our lives, from food to language to traditional arts and crafts.
I can remember teaching myself hardanger, a beautifully unique type of Norwegian embroidery, when I was no more than 10 years old. I enjoyed numerous traditional Norwegian foods growing up, including krumkake, rømmegrot, and so much more! I traversed Norway for the first time with my two young children and husband. We fell in love with the beautiful landscapes, and I was once again entranced by the rich culture.
